A marvelous Green Interstate is envisioned as an alternative way to cross the United States and as a means to create countless new enterepreneurial opportunities while revitalizing Main Streets across the nation. It is conceived as being an interconnected network of green highway route that dual-purpose existing historic and rural routes for use by alternative vehicles like experimental electric cars, various kinds of LSVs (Low Speed Vehicles), NEVs (Neighborhood Electric Vehicles) and MSEVs (Medium Speed Electric Vehicles). By 2020, countless vehicles constructed from our greatest national asset, entrepreneurial imaginations, could be transporting people and goods across the nation. In the process of traveling slower along green highways that will revitalize small towns, we may also discover things about ourselves and our history that surprise and inform us and help us on our path into the future.
